Building&Other Structure Scanning

To adequately inspect hard-to-access locations like building facades, snooper trucks or bucket trucks are often employed. For large or complex structure types, this type of hands-on-inspection work can become highly tedious and time consuming. Similar to drone imaging, our Universal Scanning System (U3S) acquires many still shots of HD imagery which are automatically stitched using photogrammetric methods. The result produces image copies of all structural surfaces for precise deficiency detection, including crack detection down to 0.1mm (1/256in). We have more than four decades of experience examining bridge deck undersides using visual and infrared scanning technology, making us one of the first and longest firms to regularly implement this method for inspection purposes.
